April 20, 21 & 22, 2018
Little Rock, Arkansas
Awaken your body and soul during this magical women’s-only retreat, uniquely designed for you to create a sacred space to honor and nourish your feminine energy.
You'll emerge from this experience with a kit of simple, practical and fun exercises to enhance your health and happiness with ancient yet little-known movement, meditation, and creative practices from around the world that tap into the healing power of nature.
Today, as we move further and further indoors and into our tech-supported lifestyles, it’s easy to see how society has become disconnected from our planet, which was for our ancestors, a source of healing and guidance. Feeling grounded, peaceful, and energized are a few of the benefits of regularly “hanging out” with nature. This Earth Day weekend, we are heeding the call by retreating together to explore new horizons of creative expression through the five elements as a way to connect with our true nature.
Earth is steady, stable, dependable, and safe. Earth gives form to the human body and to all of creation. We nourish ourselves with foods that come from the Earth, and eventually our body returns to the earthly matter from which it came.
Fire provides the body with heat and radiant energy, it also exists within all metabolic and chemical actions. Externally, we experience it as the sun or fire; internally, it drives digestion and cognitive processes. Fire is hot, light, intense, powerful, and transformative.
Water is our life-sustaining liquid, making up more than 70 percent of our total body mass. Water smooth, flowing, cool, and movable, and can be solid and powerful when necessary. It transports, connects, and provides protection and nourishment. Both our bodies and the planet are roughly 70 percent water.
Air gives movement to biological functions and feeds every cell with oxygen. Air is movable, changeable, light, dry, mobile, and dynamic. Externally, it is seen as wind; internally, it is the movement of breath, circulation, and nerve impulses. It represents the capacity for motion and gives flight to ideas or goals.
Space or Ether provides the other elements with an opportunity to interact in the ways we just mentioned. Space is the subtlest of the elements. It is expansive, empty, and has no resistance. It is the source of all matter and houses the space within which it exists. It allows for growth and change to take place. It is the space between your cells, your breath, and your thoughts.
Exploring the five elements through meditation, movement, and creativity will encourage you to move beyond the physical expression and into deeper meanings as they pertain to each of us. There is an expression in Ayurveda that states, “As is the human body, so is the cosmic body. As is the human mind, so is the cosmic mind.” This essentially describes human intelligence as not separate from nature’s intelligence. They are intimately intertwined and when we open our heart and mind to this, we find that Mother Nature has been patiently waiting for us to be still, listen, and learn what we have only forgotten.
Invoke and invite the Divine Feminine to infuse your body, mind, heart, and soul with new radiance and vitality. guided meditations, sacred movement, creative expression to know yourself deeply, let go completely, and shine brillantly.
Join us for a self-discovering, transformative experience that will leave you glowing from inside-out. This is experience is intended to create a space to retreat within ourselves, where we can tap deeply into the Sacred Feminine, and explore the aspects of our own feminine power and beauty as represented by the five elements: . You'll gain practical tools for flowing with life's many cycles with ease and grace; then come back to the world – strong, radiant, alive and empowered.
